Day 1:Out – bound International Flight / Overnight on-board.

Departure from your local international airport and overnight in flight.

Day 2:Dar Es Salaam / Selous

Arrival at the international airport of Dar Es Salaam and warm welcome by your driver who will offer you a carved wooden Masai . Then, transfer to the old airport for a domestic flight to the Selous Game Reserve (198km away). Arrival in Selous late morning. Welcome and briefing by your driver guide and safari in the reserve. Installation and lunch at Rufiji River Camp which boasts stunning views of the plains of the Selous Game Reserve and where you can see animals drink from the water park points. The post -Midi, safari reserve. Back to camp before nightfall.

Day 3: Selous

Breakfast and departure for a full day safari. Selous with an area of 55 000km² is one of the largest protected area in Africa but only 10% of the reserve is a safari. Its landscape, wooded, crossed by the river and punctuated Rufji many lakes houses a large wildlife. bush lunch in the park or lunch at the camp and continuing the safari. Day 4:Selous

Breakfast. Departure for a walking safari accompanied by an armed guard in the reserve. The sight, hearing and smell are excited during a walking safari . Lunch at the camp and then in the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Rufiji River , surrounded by hippos and crocodiles. You will have the chance to observe large varieties of herons, storks, ducks, stilts, and other wading birds but also large mammals such as giraffes and elephants.

Day 5:Selous / Ruaha

Breakfast at the camp. Then transfer to the airport for a flight to Ruaha National Park (350km vicinity) that is famous for his rare antelope sand, roan antelope, and big herds of elephants. The park represents a transition zone where the fauna and the African flora is different to the east and south. Lunch at the Lodge and then continuing safari in the afternoon. Ruaha River Lodge is situated opposite the Great Ruaha River, which offers spectacular views.

Day 6:Ruaha

Up at dawn where we will serve you coffee, chocolate or tea with cookies before leaving for an early morning game that will allow you to discover the awakening of Ruaha. A unique and unforgettable. Then back for a well deserved breakfast at the camp. Departure for a full day safari in the reserve. The Ruaha National Park is the second largest country in the national park with an area of over 10,000 km². Lunch in the bush on the reserve. Its bird fauna is extremely rich, there are over 500 species of birds. The presence of the Ruaha River offers magnificent views and attracts an important wildlife : elephants, giraffes, hippos, lions and kudu.

Day 8:Ruaha / Zanzibar

Breakfast at the Lodge. Game drive enroute to the airport. Then in the late morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar. Welcome by our local representative, transfer and accommodation at Serena Inn . Free afternoon or possibility to visit the old city.

Day 9:Zanzibar

Breakfast then transfer to the hotel Dream of Zanzibar.
Lunch at the hotel (according to your package meal plan). Free day at the hotel. You will enjoy during your stay to explore the “spice island” in inescapable charm. Strolling through the streets of Stone Town, Spice Market tour, discovery of the cave to the slaves, island tour Changuu (Prison Island), diving in the clear waters and swimming with dolphins , a wide choice of excursions will be offered. Among the must, not to be missed: The Spice Route, which takes you through the wonders of the island and clove plantations, cocoa plantations, banana … tastings that punctuate your day full of scents and flavors.
